Domingo 23 de Agosto de 2009 : En la zona del Puerto de Concepcion del Uruguay se realizo la 3er fecha del Campeonato de Maraton realizado y fiscalizado por la Sub Comisi=F3n de Atletismo del Club Engranaje con un espectacular dia de Primavera ( adelantada ) a las 11,15 minutos se puso en marcha esta 3er fecha donde las categorias mayores y veteranos tuvieron que recorrer en una oportunidad un circuito de 8530 mts, las categorias Aerobicas lo hicieron en un circuito de 3km buena cantidad de atletas se dieron cita para esta nueva prueba donde fue ganador de la general caballeros el atleta de la ciudad de gualeguaychu Juan Benitez en segundo lugar arribo Sergio Meoniz de Gualeguay y tercero fue otro atleta Gualeyo Martin Ibarra
En categoria damas la ganadora fue Gisela Gradizuela atleta de Concepcion del Uruguay segunda arribo Cirene Mallarino de Gualeguay y tercera finalizo Liliana Perez de Gualeguaychu
Los organizadores de este campeonato informaron que la cuarta fecha se realizara el dia Domingo 20 de Septiembre de 2009 en el complejo deportivo de Empleados de Comercio que esta ubicado a la vera de la Ruta Provincial 39 a la entra de la ciudad
